Fluorinated Greases
Fluorinated Greases
Achievement of Long-Term Lubrication with Excellent Chemical Stability
- Exhibit stable performance over long periods with low oxidation degradation or evaporation, thanks to a fluorinated base oil (PFAE).
- Excellent load bearing performance resulting from a combination of a PTFE thickener, solid lubricant additives, and a fluorinated base oil.
- Can be used over a wide temperature range, from low to high, because of relative immunity to the effect of temperature changes.
- Suitable even for use under vacuum conditions or in a clean room, thanks to the low vapor pressure of the base oil.
- Can be used in demanding environments with exposure to chemical or solvent splashes or for plastic and rubber lubrication.

Black | - | 660mm2/s | 7,845N | −15~ +250℃ | A black conductive fluorinated grease with a low volume resistivity (2.4×104) attributed to graphite, tin and other additives. Ideal for bearings in printers, copiers and other machines that require antistatic measures. |
Prior to using a fluorinated grease, please take note of the following points:
- As fluorinated greases have a stable chemical structure, they are not compatible with other synthetic or mineral oils. If a fluorinate grease is applied to a surface on which any antirust agent, grease or the like has previously been applied, it is likely to be repelled from the surface, resulting in seizure.
- Although fluorinated greases are less toxic than general-purpose greases and non-flammable, they emit fluorine gas if heated to 260°C or more as a result of thermal decomposition of their ingredients. For this reason, be sure to use them within the specified temperature range.
- To remove old fluorinated grease, cleaning with a highly fluorinated organic solvent, such as our Sumitec Solvent 72 (5 kg), is effective.
