Wire Rope Dresser [MRD-105] is a unique combination of lubricating fluids and solids - molybdenum disulfide and specially designed for use on the wire ropes of cranes, hoist and other equipment, dockside and harbor installations for instance.
It adheres strongly to rope surfaces, does not soil surroundings by its dripping, has the good penetrating properties between strands to the core of ropes, protects against corrosion and gives longer rope life. These benefits are particularly apparent where ropes are working under the most arduous conditions and under the heaviest loads.

Design Features
- High degree of adhesion to the rope surface reduces drop and wipe off and contamination of the equipment, gives longer periods of service between dressings.
- Deep penetration between the strands provides internal lubrication, protects against corrosion, gives longer rope life.
- A unique combination of lubricating fluids and solids (molybdenum disulfide) reduces friction between strands and on all surfaces of the rope under extreme pressure
- Unaffected properties by temperature (-20°C to 150°C), dripping at high temperature and peeling off by hardening at low temperature are prevented.
- Outstanding water repellency, it is ideal for ropes operating in saltwater conditions, and unaffected by weather or hosing down.
- Easy to apply, does not require heating before the application even in winter.

Recommended For
- For use on the wire ropes of cranes, ropeways and suspension bridges, and on bridle ropes, stay ropes etc.
- For use on the hemp core when manufacturing the wire ropes.
- In addition to its above main use as an advanced wire ropes lubricant, Wire Rope Dresser is also suitable for use as a semi-fluid high load gearbox grease, lubrication of gears of heavy equipment and easy to apply by spray or drip-feed.
